Anonymised copies of decisions can be ordered from the Federal Constitutional Court’s mailing department, including for commercial use. If you provide an email address, the decisions will be sent by email in PDF format. Otherwise, they will be sent to the postal address given.

Fees for copies of decisions are calculated according to no. 2000 items 1 and 2 of the Annex to § 4(1) of the Judicial Administration Costs Act.

For copies sent by post, the fee for decisions of up to 50 pages is EUR 0.50 per page. For decisions longer than 50 pages, EUR 0.50 per page is charged for the first 50 pages and EUR 0.15 for every additional page. If more than one copy is sent at a time, the rate is calculated according to the total number of pages sent.

For copies sent via email, the document fee is EUR 1.50 per decision, regardless of volume. If more than three documents are sent at a time, the maximum document fee is EUR 5.00. If (older) decisions are available only on paper and need to be converted into an electronic format, the fee for email delivery will be no less than that for postal delivery.

Regardless of which format is chosen, copies of decisions are sent with an invoice. Orders exceeding EUR 40.00 require advance payment.
