In the context of the German-Japanese Constitutional Conference 2017, a panel discussion took place in the courtroom of the Federal Constitutional Court on the evening of 20 September 2017. Under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Olivier Jouanjan from Paris II University, the President of the Federal Constitutional Court Prof. Dr. Andreas Voßkuhle, the Vice-President of the European Court of Human Rights Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Angelika Nußberger, Judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Thomas von Danwitz, Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court Prof. Dr. Gabriele Britz, and Judge at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Austria Prof. Dr. Georg Lienbacher discussed the issue of “Dialogue between Constitutional Courts”.
