Delegation from the Supreme Court of the Republic of Korea visits the Federal Constitutional Court

A delegation from the Supreme Court of the Republic of Korea, headed by Chief Justice Kim Myeongsu, visited the Federal Constitutional Court on 30 April 2019. The Vice-President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M, received the delegation. The expert discussions addressed the application of international law by constitutional courts, the role of the Federal Constitutional Court after German reunification, and the impact of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Justice on the German legal system and on the work of the Federal Constitutional Court.
