Delegation from the Italian Constitutional Court visits the Federal Constitutional Court

A delegation from the Italian Constitutional Court, headed by President Giorgio Lattanzi, visited the Federal Constitutional Court from 26 to 28 June 2019. The guests were received by President Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Andreas Voßkuhle, Vice-President Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M., as well as other Justices of the Federal Constitutional Court. Topics addressed in the working sessions included convergences and differences between the European Court of Justice and constitutional courts, freedom of labour coalitions and right to strike as well as communications and public relations of the two constitutional courts. In addition, the participants discussed recent decisions of their courts.
