Visit by the President and the Vice-President of the Federal Constitutional Court to Colombia and Brazil

The President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Dres. h. c. Andreas Voßkuhle, and the Vice-President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M., visited Colombia and Brazil from 19 to 24 September 2019. They attended the 25th Annual Meeting of the Presidents and Justices of the Latin American Constitutional Courts and Constitutional Chambers and the 14th Meeting of Colombian Constitutional Justices in Cartagena. Their programme further included a lecture given by President Voßkuhle on the invisible limits of constitutional jurisdiction at the Universidade de Brasilia, and a visit to the Federal Supreme Court of Brazil. President Voßkuhle also gave a lecture on the future of constitutional jurisdiction in Germany and Europe at the Office of the Attorney General of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
