Delegation from the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea visits the Federal Constitutional Court

A delegation from the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea, headed by its President Namseok Yoo, visited the Federal Constitutional Court from 28 to 30 October 2019. President Prof. Dr. Dres. h. c. Andreas Voßkuhle and Vice-President Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M., as well as other Justices of the Federal Constitutional Court welcomed the guests. The topics discussed in the working sessions included the right to informational self-determination, fundamental rights protection between private actors and current developments regarding the standard of review in relation to the right to equality. In addition, the visit provided an opportunity for the Justices to discuss recent decisions by the two courts.
