German Association of Judges visits the Federal Constitutional Court

On 11 November 2019, a delegation from the German Association of Judges (Deutscher Richterbund) visited the Federal Constitutional Court. President Prof. Dr. Dres. h. c. Andreas Voßkuhle and other Justices of the Federal Constitutional Court welcomed the guests. During the visit, the delegations exchanged views on threats to the rule of law in Germany and Europe, the limits of freedom of expression, in particular with regard to the protection of public officials, and developments relating to the remuneration of judges since the foundational Federal Constitutional Court judgment on this issue.
