Delegation from the Court of Justice of the European Union visits the Federal Constitutional Court

A delegation from the Court of Justice of the European Union, headed by its President Prof. Dr. Koen Lenaerts, visited the Federal Constitutional Court on 19 October 2020. President Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M, and Vice-President Prof. Dr. Doris König as well as other Justices of the Federal Constitutional Court welcomed the delegation. The day was filled with working sessions in the course of which the guests discussed the independence of the judiciary and the multi-level cooperation of European courts (Europäischer Gerichtsverbund). Moreover, the visit provided an opportunity for the Justices to discuss their current work.
