In view of the extensive distancing requirements in effect on grounds of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Second Senate of the Federal Constitutional Court decided on 12 January 2021 to cancel the oral hearing scheduled for 26 and 27 January 2021 in the proceedings (2 BvF 2/18 and 2 BvE 5/18) concerning the increase of the absolute upper limit to public funding allocated to all political parties combined and the legislative procedure related thereto.
The oral hearing will take place at a later date.
