Online working session with members of the Constitutional Court of Austria

On 11 May 2021, members of the Constitutional Court of Austria and the Federal Constitutional Court met for an online working session. Following words of welcome by the President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M. (Yale), and the President of the Constitutional Court of Austria, Univ.-Prof. DDr. Christoph Grabenwarter, the participants discussed the protection of fundamental rights in the multi-level system of European courts and the relationship between EU law and domestic law in recent decisions. The meeting ended with closing remarks by the Vice-President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Doris König, and the Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Austria, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Verena Madner.
