President and Vice-President of the Federal Constitutional Court participate in the Conference of the Heads of the Supreme Courts of the EU Member States

On 21 February 2022, a conference of the heads of the supreme courts of the Member States of the European Union took place in Paris. The conference was organised by the French Conseil constitutionnel, Conseil d’État and Cour de cassation. The event paid tribute to the role of the Court of Justice of the European Union in defending the common values of the Member States, in particular on the occasion of the Court’s 70th anniversary. The conference was dedicated to the role of judges in consolidating the rule of law in Europe. On the part of the Federal Constitutional Court, President Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M. (Yale) and Vice-President Prof. Dr. Doris König participated in the event.
