Delegation from the Federal Constitutional Court attends 5th Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice

Vice-President Prof. Dr. Doris König and Federal Constitutional Court Justice Dr. Sibylle Kessal-Wulf attended the 5th Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice (WCCJ) from 4 to 7 October 2022. This year, the Congress was organised by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia. The aim of the WCCJ is to promote constitutional justice as a key element for democracy, the protection of human rights and the rule of law. The topics addressed during the Congress included democracy and the rule of law as preconditions for ensuring peace, and the role of constitutional courts in maintaining peace.
