Commemoration and wreath-laying ceremonies to mark the 70th anniversary of the East German uprising of 17 June 1953

On 16 June 2023, the President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, attended a ceremony in the German Bundestag commemorating the 70th anniversary of the uprising in the former German Democratic Republic. On 17 June 2023, he took part in wreath-laying ceremonies at the central memorial site in the Seestraße cemetery in Berlin and at the Postplatz in Görlitz.
