Delegation from the European Court of Human Rights visits the Federal Constitutional Court

On 19 June 2023, a delegation from the European Court of Human Rights, headed by its President, Dr. Síofra O’Leary, visited the Federal Constitutional Court. The guests were received by President Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M. (Yale), Vice-President Prof. Dr. Doris König and other members of the Federal Constitutional Court. The topics discussed in the working sessions included the reception of EU law in the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights and the Federal Constitutional Court, rights of access to information and judicial independence.
