Delegation from the Supreme Court and the Council of State of the Kingdom of the Netherlands visits the Federal Constitutional Court

A delegation from the Supreme Court and the Council of State of the Kingdom of the Netherlands including the President of the Supreme Court, Prof. Dr. Dineke de Groot, and the Presiding Justice of the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State, Rosa Uylenburg, visited the Federal Constitutional Court on 10 and 11 March 2024. The guests were received by President Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, Vice-President Prof. Dr. Doris König and other members of the Federal Constitutional Court. The topics discussed in the working sessions included the competences of the three Courts and systems of constitutional review in the Netherlands and Germany, therelationship between domestic fundamental rights and the European Convention on Human Rights/the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, and current challenges for constitutional justice.
