President of the Federal Constitutional Court participates in J20 Summit of Heads of Supreme Courts and Constitutional Courts of G20 Members

The President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M. (Yale), participated in the J20 Summit of Heads of Supreme Courts and Constitutional Courts of G20 Members in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 12 May to 14 May. The topics discussed in the working sessions were ’The promotion of citizenship and social inclusion by the Judiciary’, ‘Climate litigation and sustainable development’ and ‘Digital transformation and the use of technology to enhance judicial efficiency’.
