Federal Constitutional Court participates in Schwerin festivities to mark Day of German Unity

This year’s national festivities to mark the Day of German Unity are taking place in Schwerin from 2 to 4 October 2024 under the theme of ‘Setting Sail as One’. The Federal Constitutional Court will showcase its activities with an interactive pavilion directly next to the Schwerin Marstall building as part of a citizen’s fair. In the pavilion, citizens can gain insights into the Court’s work. On 3 October 2024, interviews will be held with Justices of the Federal Constitutional Court, giving visitors the opportunity to gain a personal impression of them. Moreover, short videos about the Court’s work and some if its important decisions will be shown.
The President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M. (Yale), the Vice-President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Doris König, and other members of the Federal Constitutional Court will participate in the official ceremony on 3 October 2024.
