A delegation from the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil headed by its President, Prof. Dr. Luís Roberto Barroso, LL.M. (Yale), and the most senior Justice of the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil, Prof. Dr. Gilmar Mendes, LL.M. (Münster), visited the Federal Constitutional Court on 30 and 31 March 2025. The guests were received by President Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M. (Yale), Vice-President Prof. Dr. Doris König and further Members of the Federal Constitutional Court. The topics addressed in the working sessions were ‘Decline of democracy’, ‘Militant democracy’, ‘Digital platforms and use of artificial intelligence’ and ‘Climate protection’.
